"It has everything we needed: 1) 5 beds for 5 of us. 2) Working appliances / facilities (washer, air conditioner, sink, shower, bath, lights, fridge). 3) Large "under the bed" area to store suitcases. 4) Enough electrical outlet to charge our devices. 5) Clean and new. 6) Self checking, checkout, and elevator in building. 7) Area is not far from train stations, but it's also quiet and not noisy. I did not communicate with building manager / host -- but there was also no need to."

"Mr. Kusunoki is such a pleasant man. He sent us the best routes to get to places on multiple occasions, and shared with us many spots to go. He used his many connections to get us discounts on watches, and informed us the cheapest way to buy train tickets, and amusement park tickets. If we come back to Tokyo, we will be staying here again."

"Apartment is behind a bathroom, same building. Good thing is there is lots of space compared to other Japanese apartments. Furnishing are sparse, and apartment could be decorated better. Location is nice area, village with lots of small shop’s restaurants and local people. If owners had turned in AC before we arrived that would have helped our first impression, since when we arrived the apartment was super hot, and took hours to become comfortable."

"I have mixed feeling about this place. It is clean and in a quiet neighborhood but If you are looking for easy access to Shinjuku or Shibuya, then this place is not for you. We had 2 small rooms but this “house” is shared by an older gentlemen so we were told to keep really quiet. We were literally whispering during our stay.
