We were attending the wedding and after speaking to the member of the reception team in the day, we were checked-in early, which allowed us to change clothes, leave the luggage, park the car and leave it there, get a taxi and enjoy the day. "Hotel was good. Breakfast excellent. Staff helpful especially the late night door man. The only drawback is you have to book with the hotel itself, not through a third party,to have a reserved parking space. There is very limited parking on the surrounding streets."

"I stayed in room 36 outside by carpark. Room was clean. Hot water took a while to get to the room, wifi was none existent or very sporadic heater in room did not work."

"We stayed in a lodge which was clean and fully equipped. There was even a washing machine, although I would have preferred a dishwasher (but that is a personal choice). Staff was friendly and meals very good. I would recommend a lodge for a longer stay and a room in the stately manor for a few nights. Definitely a positive experience!"

"When we arrived the door to our room was broken -- it would not open -- so they gave us another room. That room had no hot water, so they gave us another room. The staff was excellent, and the hotel is lovely. The location is very good."
