"We had only a one night stay in Talkeetna. Mike picked us up at the train depot, showed us around town, and because of the circumstances, allowed us a late check out which really made things easy for us. Great place to stay."

Aug 20, 2019Talkeetna is a very different place seemingly centered solely around tourism with sky high prices. I am very disappointed that such a quaint little town would have such a high markup on everything.

Aug 13, 2019The train station is fun, and if you check around you can see Danali from here. It is also just a hop up there. Fishing is impressive. The town is crazy crowded when the buses roll in, but it is very nice when they go away. Great place for souvenirs.
