"Stayed in New Quay many times but this was our first stay at The Penwig and it didnt disappoint. We booked a sea view room which was lovely as you could sit in the morning and watch the dolphins out in the bay. The room was spacious and spotless. The breakfasts were tasty with a few choices and also catered for vegetarians. The staff were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. There is no onsite parking but we used the carpark around the corner. It does get a bit noisey early in the am with deliveries to the pub and surrounding businesses etc but it wouldnt deter us in staying again."

"Just what we wanted! Onsite parking and electric charging. A well fitted room with a great bed and a lovely large shower. Fridge and microwave made the stay very easy. The rooms are well sited near the restaurant and shops"

"Was greeted warmly, room was lovely, clean, had everything you need, large TV, kettle, all you needed for hot drinks, nice chocolate and shower gels, breakfast your absolutely spoiled for choice, the full English was amazing cooked by the lovely Debbie. "This hotel was a real find. A lovely stay and was a real lovely place to come back to at the end of a busy day out. The rooms were very well appointed modern, clean with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. If I had to be really picky I would have liked a wider range of food available for breakfast as in a selection of bread not just brown or white sliced, and freshly prepared fresh fruit. Alternatives for people who do not appreciate English Breakfast at that early time in the morning. But overall an excellent stay."
