"This location is indeed only a quarter mile to the beach - if you can brave walking through the relentless red light district that is Bangla Road. We expected a shopping center, which was close by, but the hotel is actually located in an ally off Bangla which itself is a daily open air all-night bar rave, studded with countless go-go bars, strip clubs, hard-sale street vendors, and sketchy massage parlors. "This was a 2bdr apt. No AC in the large living area. AC in the bedrooms was very poor. Probably needed maintenance. No WiFi in the master bedroom. Leak in the master bathroom kept the floor flooded. The ceiling fan in the 2nd bedroom was out of alignment and made a lot of noise so it could not be used at night. This would have been a great rental if it was properly maintained.
