The location is very nice, with lots of restaurants nearby and the MRT station within walking distance. The bed is also very comfortable. The air conditioner in the room I stayed did not function well. It runs constantly but the room temperature could not come down to the temp I set, which is 24 degree. Also, the room smelled like the air has not been circulated with outside air for a while.

Nice clean room, decent room sizes, great amenities. Location is good, near MRT station and night market. Just the soundproofing got issue, can hear the doors opening/closing, and also some noises from aircon.

The Guide Hotel Taipei NTU was clean and quiet, and well located near the MRT station. The service was excellent - they went above and beyond to help us recover a beloved stuffed animal we had left behind.

Great location (2-min walk to the metro Taipower Building); friendly staff. Eco-friendly. Small suggestion: consider to do away with disposable toilery (for example, toothbrush etc.) in the bathroom and include a water dispenser (now availanle on the first floor) on every floor.

the first room i was given was so small that if i was sitting on the foot of the bed my daughter had to climb over the bed to get to the other side The "windows"were covered with a material which made them impossible to see out of but that didn't matter as they were covered up and looked at a wall The worst part was the A/C this is from a western perspective but the a/c was set at 25 C which is about 78 F every night we woke up soaked in sweat. I contacted hotels .com and they got the hotel to offer a slightly bigger room but the a/c was still terrible. both showers had mold in them and the bigger room had a window which was again covered with material that made it opaque and if you opened it which was not a good idea as it was hot and humid outside the view was a wall I gave up and booked another hotel The staff tried to help and brought me a fan but it was still soooo hot and humid There was frequently no one at the front desk Overall this hotel i tired and not nearly as nice or spacious as it looked in pictures

An OK, simple hotel Furniture in the room is way too old and should be replaced. No cafeteria, but several options nearby. Electronic checking at a machine may be a problem; we arrived around midnight and were lucky that a staff member was on site to help us (the machine did not take our Canadian credit cards and the person had to do something at the back office) Overall, the staff was helpful and kind. They gave me an umbrella as I went for a walk and stored luggage.

Self check in system was not properly functioned, first Expedia reservation number was not available, has to talk to people on phone to get different number, and the credit card machine was unable to work, has to sent another link to my mobile phone to use credit card. The room is small and no window. I will not recommend this hotel to others. The location is convenient, that is the only good thing.
