Top Taichung Hotel Reviews
BlueSky Hotel
8/10 Good
"Clean and well located near to the Taichung Train station. It is a no frills setup and everything inside function as expected. Good for the budget conscious travelers. Lacking in providing laundry machines in house which seems to be a norm in Taiwan."

"地點在台中的老城區，周遭有很多商店，離台中一中很近，走路就能去一中街夜市大快朵頤。旅館櫃檯的服務人員超級友善，介紹了不少附近美食。我們被升等到大房間，乾淨舒適，非常滿意。"
HOSHINOYA Guguan
8/10 Good
"This hotel is an exemplary modern zen version of the traditional Japanese ryokan. It evokes the same sensations of being in its environment, be it in the rooms with its own onsen, journeying along the corridors & paths to the dining room, the hotel onsens or the lovingly curated forest garden. Service is absolutely top tier. Where it sadly misses the mark is the kaiseki dinner. It tries to fuse local elements into the courses where there should be that single minded pursuit of simplicity & elegance of the ingredients to be showcased. It’s a shame that it didn’t end up that way, becoming overly complex & puzzling. There is no other choice for dinner, other than the very limited room service menu. The simpler breakfast & lunch menus at the restaurant were more satisfying. It is disappointing that after enjoying that sense of being in the hotel during the day, the evening meal, pinnacle of a ryokan experience, just didn’t complete the zen feeling of being one with the place."

"I would like to commend Joseph Lin for his helpfulness when I need to make last minute adjustments to my booking. He took the extra step to help us find out how we could liaise with Expedia to make the arrangements. Overall the hotel is clean and has good amenities."

"Great location, well kept property, helpful staff."

"All good. I understand that the hotel is planning on installing more water dispensers on each floor, which would be much more eco-friendly than providing water bottles in each room. I'll look forward for it."
Boutech Wuri Village Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Good place to stay though quite a distance from taichung main city. EV AC charging facilities available"
