"This lovely, large, immaculate home made me feel like a princess. The house is very clean and decorated very pretty. I experienced promp communication from the kind owners. They went above and beyond and purchased a clothes iron a day before my arrival. I would love to return to this home in the future."

"Came to Bakersfield for a family party. The house was awesome!!! We will rent again. We stay in houses as we like to gather and cook. The kitchen was minimally stocked. One small fry pan and small stock pot was a challenge but we made it work. I now build a “vacation tub” that I put what I need. We ran to store for showering soap and kurig pods but overall great stay!"

"The house was lovely backyard is beautiful house was very clean spacious,master bed room and bathroom very nice size, could use some room darking curtains 😀,neighbors are nice. We were there for a carshow so they took pictures of cars very well stocked with extra towels, pillows, blankets."

"Four friends met at the Mayor’s House to vacay together. It was very relaxing and beautiful. Cleaning crew was still there upon our arrival after 4 pm but left shortly thereafter. They advised the vacuum cleaner broke, so we swept the house each day. Having a washer and dryer was great. We planned ahead and brought our own laundry soap and dryer sheets as none was provided. "It was nice, however the pool was not clean when we arrived. Our host did respond within minutes and had the pool man out to change out vacuum and turn on pump the next afternoon. The host was great, but losing the pool for the 1st day and half was a bummer. Everything else was very nice. We would come back as long as we could confirm the pool was clean (Bako summers are no joke)."

"Loved my stay! My room was quiet, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is decorated real nice with lots of seating areas to privately visit in the lobby. Staff was friendly. The pool is on the east side of the hotel which is perfect because its completely shaded early. Didn't make it in time for the breakfast.The elevator wasn't working the day we left. They were testing the fire alarm that day so I think that's was why. At least we know they're doing fire safety checks. Everything else was great though. Really happy with my stay!!"
