"Just got back from our stay in Papillon, a charming cabin perched in on a hillside in Val d’Herens. The cabin was clean, cozy and well equipped. The view was spectacular, beds very comfortable, kitchen equipped with everything needed to enjoy the holiday. One bedroom and bathroom are on the main floor so my elderly parents didn’t have to climb the stairs. Plenty of sleeping space upstairs, too - my kids loved the bunk beds, and used a third bedroom (with beds for 4 more and a box of toys!) to...

"Joli chalet bien entretenu et disposant de tout le confort. La vue est splendide et les balades proches. Les bisses sont des incontournables de la région comme le lac des Dix et les hauts sommets et glaciers. Idéalement, ce serait mieux un grand lit au centre de la chambre plutôt que calé contre le mur. Quant à la télé par satellite, elle est axée sur les chaines en allemand (langue du propriétaire). Mais ce sont des détails compte-tenu de la fraîcheur et du dépaysement bien venu de ce chalet en...

"Für uns war das Chalet genau richtig, da wir gerne an etwas abgelegenen, naturnahen Orten sind. Der Blick und die Lage sind zauberhaft!Leider war bei unserer Ankunft die letzte Reinigung nicht gründlich erfolgt, aber wir konnten es mit dem Vermieter klären und haben eine Lösung dafür gefunden. Wir haben die Woche dort sehr genossen und würde sehr gerne wieder kommen! "

The châlet is typical and as described (note, however, that room 1 is mentioned twice in the description, but it is a 4-bedroom châlet, not a 5-bedroom châlet).The châlet is a 10-minute walk from the ski lifts, and 5-6 minutes from the old center of Grimentz (splendid).
