"The location is really great, with only 5 min walk to the railway station and a 20 min ride to central Stockholm. The area is nice and calm, apart from some traffic noise. The house and garden are a bit worn, but the friendly and helpful host responded fast and efficient when we pointed out some minor flaws. Check-in as well as check-out was very convenient."

Der Vermieter antwortet umgehend auf Anfragen. Negativ: zuerst fallen die ungepflegten Außenanlagen auf, die untere Etage ist sehr muffig und man kann nachts die 2 Zimmer unten schlecht lüften, da die Türen gleich Fenster ist. "Two factors made our stay at this house so memorable: 1) The house sits on the beautiful island of Stegesund (no cars, only a small dirt road) that overlooks gorgeous water just outside of the town of Vaxholm. The July sun bathes the house in warm light all day long. You get the benefit of feeling away from the city while only being a 5 minute ferry/boat ride away from Vaxholm. "Such a nice place to stay that was SO far from Stockholm traffic/stress and literally minutes away from Arlanda. Enjoyed the scenery and the wildlife out here. Wish we had had extra days to enjoy sauna more!"

"Very nice home in a very nice and quiet neighborhood."

"Es war unser erstes Ferienhaus in Schweden. Das Haus entsprach der Anzeige. Die Lage war toll, so dass wir jeden Morgen in den See baden gehen konnten. Auch die Wanderung um die Halbinsel Smidö haben wir sehr genossen. Als einmal der Strom weg war, hat sich der Vermieter sehr intensiv darum gekümmert das Problem zu lösen. Auch der Whirlpool mit direktem Blick auf dem See war fantastisch. Würden wir bestimmt wieder buchen."

"Das Haus mit großem Grundstück liegt sehr ruhig und gleichzeitig sehr nah am Zentrum von Lidingö mit guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und guter Busanbindung an Metro und Fähre. Nachmittags und abends scheint die Sonne sehr schön auf die Terrasse neben der Küche, die sehr gut ausgestattet ist und zum gemeinsamen Kochen einlädt. Im großen Essbereich haben wir gerne gegessen und am langen Tisch gespielt. Der helle Wintergarten ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen und das große Bad mit Sauna ein...

"Einen Tag vor Anreise wurde die Unterkunft storniert, erreichen konnten wir keinen mehr. Da wir schon in Schweden waren, standen wir auf einmal ohne Unterkunft da, obwohl wir schon im November gebucht hatten. Macht den Urlaub gleich viel entspannter."

På verandan sitter man perfekt med kvällssol och båtar i blickpunkten som kommer och går. "The staff were very helpful and the room was quiet, clean and comfortable. We were surprised to pay for coffee in the lobby and for use of laundry facilities as neither were noted in the property description."
