A Unique Stay in Stockholm

This hotel is located in a beautiful affluent neighborhood about 20 minutes by train outside of the center of Stockholm. I was looking for a unique place to stay that didn’t feel like a generic international hotel chain. This place preserves the character of the old mansion, while pairing it with cleanliness and good upkeep, along with amazing hospitality. Would definitely return!!

Generally we were happy and would stay here again, but the room we had was dark and unpractical and we were a bit dissapointed that the terrace was rather small and 1,20m «below» the surrounding terrain

Fin miljö och hög kvalitet på maten, såväl julbord som frukost. Rummet var lite väl litet och färgen hade flagat ordentligt i taken. Golvvärmen i badrummet gick inte att justera och var på tok för varm.

Besvikna!

Otroligt besvikna! Vi bokade in oss på Nynäs Slott i hopp om en avkopplande, barnfri helg, men tyvärr blev upplevelsen en stor besvikelse. Istället för att få rum på själva slottet placerades vi i en annan tegelbyggnad en bit bort, med fula och trista rum som inte alls motsvarade förväntningarna eller bilderna. Vi valde slottet just för miljön och känslan, så det kändes verkligen som att hela upplevelsen gick förlorad. Personalen hanterade det dock professionellt och vi fick pengarna tillbaka, vilket vi uppskattar. Men trots det kunde de inte reparera besvikelsen, de förstörde en helg vi verkligen behövde för att komma bort från vardagen och bara koppla av. Slottet var vackert och väldigt fint designat och vi hade verkligen sett fram emot att bo där.

För lite personal...stora stunder var det ingen som stod i receptionen/baren för de var tvungna och göra massa andra saker. Fanns inga badrockar eller handdukar eller tofflor till spa:t på rummet. Fick gå och fråga efter det 2 gånger. Ingen som jobbade i spa avdelningen heller, så de dök upp ibland bara. Dessutom för många i avdelningen åt gången. Värst var att det var jättekallt på rummet så fick sova med lite kläder på sig. Förrätten var jättegod, men huvudrätten var inte alls bra tyvärr. Frukosten var inte heller kul. Detta får betyg 2 på en skala till 5. Varit på 56 andra ställen i Sverige...så har lite och jämföra med. Men väldans trevlig personal ska tilläggas.

Underbar pizzeria!

Vi hade vår bröllopsnatt här efter vigsel i Stadshuset. Fint och mysigt rum, bra frukost. Härligt område runtomkring och deras lilla egna pizzeria var toppen, underbar mat och trevlig och leende personal. Mycket bättre än på själva hotellet.

Bra slottsdel med mer att önska avseende rummen

Själva slottsdelen är mycket trevlig för exempelvis en te/kaffe, middag och frukost. Rummet kändes inte rent, framförallt inte badrummet där exempelvis duschdraperiet var svart av smuts.
