"Quaint little cottage in the lovely quiet hamlet of Cwm Penmachno. There are amazing views from the cottage across the valley. We went for a couple of great walks up the disused quarry, just up the road. Once at the top of this walk there are fantastic views of the valley. "We had a great time at this property. The five properties gave us space to be together and still have our own space to retreat to when needed. It was a very wet weekend in Wales but we made the most of it. The Pool and Grove cottages and The Gallery were a bit tricky to keep warm as you needed to keep the log burners going and use electric heaters upstairs. "A wonderful and spacious stone house with exceptional facilities especially in the kitchen. All the bedrooms has comfortable beddings and with enough room for 8 adults and 4 children. We definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit Bala in North Wales for its facilities and location. "

The drive up the hill is a little hairy - glad we were in a robust vehicle! Barmouth is a small seaside town with lots of independent shops and cafes."
