"Amazing secluded villa, close to the beach. The staff are amazing and the restaurant was great. Black sand beach was incredible. Love that most of the time you were the only one on the beach. Can't wait to go back there."

"Arrived and wish I hadn’t. The place is run down, the staff have no training in how to clean. Lost electricity a few times, due to fault with pool, so had no pool half of my stay. The staff are accommodating, but do not understand English. I was on count down due to no refund policy. Would I stay here again . A big fat “ NO”. I had expectations and they were squashed on arrival. And yes been to Bali many times. The good bits. Breakfast was delivered on time, staff were good to try and accommodate best they could, the surrounding area is ok, Luna is just down the road, (recommend taking a visit) a few cafes , the road a bit bumping, transportation easy bookable using Grab App. The trip to Canggu with the traffic - takes around 40 to 45 minutes. Airport is an hour away at least.. If you’re looking for a quiet place the area isn’t too bad. "

"Look, we loved our stay here. We wanted an authentic experience surrounded by real Bali. Real locals, not overrun with tourists, good food and away from the traffic and bustle. It was perfect. We met with our local Balinese friends here that were made to feel very welcome. The staff were authentically friendly, no touristy pretense. Indomarat across the the road and the restaurant on site is simple but great, so all you need. Local ceremony nearby which was a great experience. We loved it. Don’t stay here if you want to have 5 star luxury, walk and find shops and restaurants and spas. Do stay here if you want to be surrounded by the real simple bali. Our ‘wooden’ villa had its own pool and kitchen. It was clean, spacious and beautiful. It had great air conditioning and gallon water available. We did an amazing day trip with our recommended driver by the hotel, Nicky. We are already planning next year. 11 out of 10. "

"Stayed here for 1 short night, while I was attending an event at Luna Beach Club. Pros: The staff were wonderful and accommodating, I arrived late (2AM) and a member of the staff stayed up to greet me and check me in, and the area was relaxing and quiet. Cons: there were some mold issues, which is understandable considering the climate and the location right by a river, but for people with sensitivities/allergies it might be problematic ALSO - THE ACTUAL ADDRESS is not at the map point Expedia provides, it's actually around 2km south of that.
