"Very good property"

"This was our second stay at this hotel. Room was very small, but comfortable and clean. Had issues with air conditioning which required us to open window, making room noisy. When window closed was quiet. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a small buffet. Last time they had a breakfast menu and choices were lovely. We missed having that, but it was okay. Great location for exploring Ermoupoli."

"Hospitality at its finest! From the moment we arrived, our stay was wonderful. We got off the ferry and made our way to the square, where Kostas, the owner of the hotel, met us personally. He was incredibly sweet and walked us up to the hotel, a gorgeous 1800s mansion that has been beautifully transformed into a romantic blend of modern comfort and classic charm. Along the way, Kostas shared some of the history of Syros and, once we arrived, sat down with us and marked all of his favorite spots...

"Amazing little hotel"

"Perfect hotel to stay in Syros. Nicolas, the owner, is a fabulous host and a true gentleman. He is very informative about the history of Syros. The boutique hotel is about a 5 min walk downhill (gentle) to the town where there are lots of tavernas, shops etc. Nicolas provides lots of useful information about the sights, beaches and restaurants. Anna provides a lovely breakfast, meats & cheeses, fruit, Greek yoghurt, breads. She also cleans the rooms and is a lovely person. The room was...

"We were very surprised this is a Michelin key hotel. Yes, it had recently been renovated with lots of marble. Small rooms. Bad breakfast with tiny bufffet. Pool tiny and unclean. Hamman only by appointment. Check in person was arrigant and left us waiting while she did other things. Felt very disrespected."

"A very nice hotel. Loved our room. The location was excellent. Breakfast was also great"

"When we first stepped foot in the hotel, we received a warm welcome with a glass of water. The host personally greeted us and gave us ideas for our stay. Our room was amazing, with our own balcony and sea view. The breakfast included was top notch.. it was a specialized menu you could order from ( verses a continental breakfast most hotels have). The staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this boutique hotel!"

"Owner/Manager of the hotel is a great man, helped us to explore and discover the town with all his recommendations and advise. Thanks!"

"Everyone was so kind friendly and helpful! What a beautiful guesthouse. And wonderful hosts:)"

"It was clean, well maintained in good location. Room was nicely done with private Jacuzzi in the balcony. Our room was cleaned every day and all the staff was very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with different treats and delicacies every day. I would definitely recommend it."

"Our suite was amazing! Very beautiful and very clean. Konstantinos ,the owner , was there to welcome us and give useful information about the island! A very kind and friendly person! I highly recommend it for its beauty, cleanliness , amenities and location. It is in the heart of the centre of Ermoupolis. I think it is the best choice for you to stay in the island."

"Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy our stay at Eclectic. It’s worth being aware that the hotel isn’t really staffed, so when you arrive you are sent a code to get through the door and then another for your room. Unfortunately the code to our bedroom door didn’t work. Fortunately the cleaner was still there and so able to help us access the room and the key. There isn’t a lift, so you have to carry luggage up a narrow staircase. Both these elements didn’t leave a great first impression. The rooms are...
