"This was a good choice. Didn't expect the refrigerator, ironing board, etc. Was just like a hotel room. Bed was not great but adequate, Could use a good cleaning. Shower was good size but it was a handicap room and we are not handicapped. Location great. Thought the dinner was better at big Meadows. ..."

The area is really close to hiking, but a long drive to Skyline Drive. Not much food shopping.

We visited Blue Quartz winery, but they also had beer and cider! The facility was beautiful, staff very friendly, beautiful outdoor area, and wine and cider were good (i don't drink beer but my friend enjoyed it). Thet had Old Rag BBQ food truck y
