"Great location in historical area of Siracusa. Right across from water. Great bar and bfast. Would stay again. Love our sea view room"

"Das Zimmer war gut, allerdings hatte es nicht wirklich ein Fenster. Das Fenster war eine Art Notausgang, durch das man aber nicht wirklich hinausgehen konnte. Das Bett war bequem und das Frühstück o.k., wir hatten während unserer Rundreise aber deutlich bessere Frühstücke. Die Lage ist allerdings super, in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß in Ortigia und schöne Restaurants rund herum."

"It’s such a special grand old hotel. The lookout from our balcony was like a ship porthole, offering this really great view of the waterfront and property. Breakfast was top-notch. All in, a delightful stay!"

"Really nice place in the heart of Ortigia. Everyone super helpful. I recommend to book online for the puppet show."

"I enjoyed four unforgettable days exploring beautiful Ortigia -staying at the Grand Hotel Ortigia, which is a 5-star luxury hotel overlooking the harbor. It is just a short stroll to the must-see landmarks such as the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the Aretusa Fountain, and the renowned Cathedral of Syracuse. it was built in 1890 and was completely renovated while preserving its classic old-world charm with marble floors, Corinthian columns, and beautiful art-filled common areas. They have an...

"Very good situation between Ortigia and Syracuse, no car needed. Modern and clean."

"Very noisy. Overlooking busy street with seemingly no noise insulation whatsoever."

"Great location and very pleasant staff"

"Breakfast excellent, with hot breakfast cooked to order. Staff are very friendly. Executive room was very clean."

"Super friendly staff! The location is great - just 3 min walk to the nearest beach."

"Hotel incroyable! Service impeccable. TOUT est en marbre! Vraiment beau et le personnel est vraiment aimable"

"Overall the hotel was very nice and in perfect location. We would definitely stay again. Some items they could improve. The reading lights above bed did not work and there was no other source of light except the huge lights for the entire room. The shower floor was super super super slippery. Both my husband and I almost fell several times. It was so bad while mid shower I couldn’t even move because I knew if I went either direction I was going to fall. Being it is so hot, and considering...

"This place was elegant, beautiful, and professional. We could see Greek temples from this facility. The gardens were lovely. If we had known this earlier we would have added some days to our stay. The man who checked us in was professional, friendly, and helpful all at once. I would hire him!"

"excellent"

"Hotel manager Federico that greeted us at check in was excellent! Was very knowledgeable about the history of Ortigia and suggested things to see and do."
