"Large older hotel, built in 1862 but renovated. Quiet. Situated in an historic park. Many bus tours stay here. Rooms are clean, fairly large and adequately equipped. Bed needs to be upgraded, mattress is hard and uncomfortable. Shower is in the bathtub, you need to step over the bathtub to access. Limited views from rooms. Convenient city bus stop not far from the main gate to access downtown and Ortigia. Free parking for those with rental cars. Breakfast is okay, typical large group...

"It’s a really beautiful hotel. Great staff, great food, AC works, beautiful spa. It’s in central place but not in the midst of all the chaos at the same time!"

"Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Blutflecken auf dem Teppich. Pool wird nur nach Bedarf geöffnet und dann auch erst geputzt. Dusche war ohne Türe. Frühstück Kaffee war schrecklich. Brötchen ok. Aber keine Auswahl am Wurst. Keine Auswahl an Säften. Würde das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen. "

"Gutes Frühstück/Schöner Garten / Lage nach Syrakus ist gut / Im ganzen ein ordentliches Hotel mit einem Beach Club. Personal war sehr Net. Liegen am Meer schön breit und bequeme. Würde ich trotzdem nicht mehr Buchen, der Grund liegt am Leitungswasser was Salzig war, so Salzig das man gedacht hat es wäre Wasser aus dem Meer."

"Hotel che risente molto del passare del tempo, avrebbe bisogno di essere riammodernato. Parecchio fuori mano rispetto al centro cittadino(es. Ortigia). Al check in mi era stata assegnata una camera con balcone e vista città, torno nel pomeriggio e mi appioppano una camera senza balcone, buia e vista muro. Da sottolineare che avevo prenotato una doppia SUPERIOR. Di Superior c’era solo il prezzo, non in linea con la qualità scadente, visto quanto elencato sopra. Morale: SCONSIGLIATO."

"Super emplacement. Parking publique juste à côté. Notre chambre était petit , mais coquette et une belle vue sur la mer. Nous avons aimé. La terrasse sur le toit pour déjeuner, est super."

"Amazing property with super helpful staff. Good location - 10-15 min drive to Syracuse/Ortigia. Breakfast was excellent, and so was dinner (extra but good value). Only slight negatives are that the poolside drinks were quite expensive (when 3-course dinner is actually quite cheap), and the spa (sauna/steam room) had to be booked well in advance. It should be open all the time, or at least bookable on the spot. There’s not enough guests to make it busy anyway. Would highly recommend still!"
