Charme Hotel Henry's House

"Henry’s House was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. Its location in the heart of Ortigia is perfect, with beautiful sea views and easy walking access to the island’s restaurants and historic sites. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was a wonderful way to start each day. If you’re an art lover, you’ll also appreciate Fiore’s beautiful artwork displayed throughout the hotel, which adds so much character and charm. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."

"Our room was lovely, set out like an apartment with a nice terrace. The new bottles of water in the room every day was appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful with all requests. The air conditioning was very effective and made the room a good base for a cool down from the hot weather. The decor was modern, bathroom was clean and plenty of space for toiletries etc. having access to Sky was fine, but some smart tv features to access other apps/cast would be a good update in future. We would have liked to have an iron in the room and there was very limited space to put/hang clothes. Additionally, a full length mirror upstairs would have been good. The shower and tap water never went cold, however, we understand there is a heatwave."

"The location of the property is great - close walk to the centre of Ortigia and a sea view. Don't be fooled by the photos - the terrace is not connected to any of the rooms and is accessed via the rooftop. Rooms with sea view have a small window only. Decor is very dated and fixtures are old but beds are clean and comfortable. There is an elevator. Breakfast is ok compared to what we had at other hotels. continental only. Would not pay for it if it wasn't included. Staff were very friendly and helpful."
