"It was absolutely “fine”. Property was clean. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Location was excellent. Staff was largely absent and satisfactory. It’s not that they were bad, it’s just every where else we stayed in Ireland the staff were superb…friendly, and seem genuinely happy to have tourist business. Overall the Inn was underwhelming for the price. We paid the same amt to stay in a 5 star castle further down the coast and that experience was superb in every regard. Doolin is a fab spot with lots to do. 2 - 3 nights recommended. Farmer Pat Sweeney’s Cliffs of Moher and an afternoon at Inish Oirr are absolute musts!"

"Would have given 5 stars across the board but there was a scaffold right outside our window, despite requesting an ocean view. It isn't really walkable to much, but the onsite restaurant was very good and the view was amazing. There's also a quaint pub contained within the hotel, with an awesome Irish performer the night we were there."

"Room was clean, location is great. you have to take a couple of stairs to your room, be mindful if you have a lot of luggage, elevator doesn’t stop on the floor itself. Unfortunately the room heater doesn’t work but they are quick to provide a portable one. Parking is a bit far behind the property."

"If you can let go of the need for everything to be pristine in your hotel room, you will love this quirky, shabby, out-of-the-way place! Host is lovely, bed was super comfortable, great breakfast, and just a comfy, funky place to hang out on the Burren. "

"Wow wow wow this is a lovely hotel. The location, the vibe and staff are amazing. Three days staying at this hotel and didn’t want to leave. If you get a chance to stay please do. The rooms are spacious so beautifully designed. The bed was so comfortable. Love it’s so sustainable water stations on every floor and great that you get a little jug of milk instead of those horrible plastic sachets. The food is incredible especially breakfast. The Guinness good too in the pub. The view of the Atlantic Ocean would make your heart sing. It’s the ultimate venue for a wedding. I’m already booking up my next stay in a couple of months. Well done to the Armada Hotel team take a well deserved bow. Irish welcome at its finest. "
