Spacious Studio With Balcony

This furnished apartment in the Hyde Park Plaza, is very spacious and full of light. It is within walking distance to the City, Darling Harbour, The Rocks and close to all conveniences, transport, shops and city landmarks.
The apartment includes a Queen bed, Built in wardrobes, double sofa bed to accommodate two extra guests, full linen and toweling and a fully self contained kitchen, as well as a large balcony.
The building has 24 hour reception.There is a rooftop pool and gym with stunning city views.Furnished, Heating, City Views, Swimming Pool, Dishwasher, Air conditioning, Built in wardrobes, Balcony / Deck, Broadband internet.

Posizione ottima, comoda a tutti i servizi supermercati, ristoranti ecc.Per fortuna noi ci portiamo sempre le pentole da casa, perchè quelle in dotazione sono inutilizzabili, bicchieri 1 calice 1 flute e altri 4 alti lunghi scomodi.Pulizia si può migliorare

Near perfect location. Amenities were pretty good. Kitchen was stocked fairly well. Needs a small ice bin in freezer and furniture could be updated. Several pieces torn. Safe was left locked apparently by another renter. Would have liked that to have worked. Overall great for the price. Good communication from the host.

Location was great but that was about it for the positive aspects. Photos were misleading and didnt display the run down nature of the apartment. Needs a deep clean and certain things replaced more often. ie. Toilet brush.Claims to be 3star but worn out furniture/cleanliness etc drops it further.

Overall great place to stay if you are on a budget as the location cannot be beat, being near the Australian Museum, Hyde Park, and the Museum metro stop which I used to get directly to/from the airport. That being said the actual apartment is more dated than it appears in the photos and I would caution any light sleepers(especially on weekends) as I slept with earplugs in and am used to city noise and it was still quite loud as the slider doors do not appear to have any soundproofing. Aside from noise though it did make for a great stay as far as location and I was easily able to walk to all the highlights of Sydney.

In terms of location and access to transport, shopping ,sight seeing its great. The pool, spa, and gym are excellent. It is getting a reno, which is needed, The road noise, if you're not used to it, is loud and continuous

Great location. The space itself is a little dated, but overall clean. They only had one set of towels, so due to our length of stay, we had to wash them a couple times. Close to everything and nice and peaceful.

Location is near most of the places that you want to go to when visiting Sydney. It could be loud outside by the streets at nights that's because location is within the heart of Sydney cars passing by the busy streets.Thank you.

Sydney Harbour Stay

The location of this property was a 10/10. It had so many sights that were within walking distance and the bus system was convenient. There were a lot of great things about our stay but the apartment itself needed some TLC and a good cleaning. There was definitely some yuck on the walls and the toilet and sink were leaking.

Not as bad as some reviews suggest. It's a bit shaggy, but overall it worked well for us. Right on the edge of Hyde Park at Oxford St., so there's a bit of noise from traffic and people in the street, but it wasn't a problem. The freezer needed a defrost but everything worked well enough and it was comfortable and very close to everything in the city. About 10 minute walk from Museum Station - which is on the airport train line. We'd stay again, especially as it was a lot less expensive than other places on offer in the city.

Great location, dirty, musty smell

We didn’t stay the full 3 days and decided to leave early even though we couldn’t get a partial refund. This is a great location it’s just musty smelling and especially the bathroom was not what we expected. The pictures look dated but definitely are doctored to take out grout mildew and other grime.

Awesome value perfect location

This place is in the perfect location to ask all around the city of Sydney. A must rent for those of us on a budget but wanting to be in a great location. Loved this place and can't wait to return!

Review

When I arrived the bed frame was broken. Called Peter who fixed it the next day. Apt has 1950's feel. Great location with grocery stores and eateries nearby. Across the street from bottom of Hyde Park and 1 block from train to Circular Quay. Couldn't figure out how the microwave worked but managed to just add minutes. Very open plan with eat in counter.

Very basic room, smell not pleasant on arrival as must not get used much. No parking on site so user hotel next door at $59 per night.

Great location

This location suited us very well while we were out of our home during renovation. It is not a luxury unit however the price for the location very reasonable. It's not 5 star; it's kind of like staying at an old bachelor uncle's place. Very adequate. The pool and gym are closed for repairs and have been for some time. Thank you.

Extremely Satisfied, No Complaints

Had an all round blast, the premises are in a great location right on Oxford St and Hyde Park. Kings Cross is a 15 minute walk, Museum train station is a 3 iron away and Peter was a joy to engage with throughout and is unfailingly helpful and polite. There is a supermarket across the road, an off licence round the corner and more bars, pubs clubs or cafes than you can drink in within staggering distance. I'm short , great place, great host, fair price and location location location.

Like other reviews the place is in need of a detailed clean and some general maintenance. High touch surfaces were clean (bed, kitchen benches etc) but things like thick dust on frames, mould in bathroom & filthy balcony doors were in need of attention. I expected all this once I checked in so it met expectations. The room is spacious which was nice. Great views down Oxford St from balcony (level 6). Ild prob stay here again as location was great and met my needs.
