The member of staff we met on reception when we arrived was really friendly and after discussion we decided to pay for an upgrade to a lovely apartment room with a balcony view. The property is a bit tired , but rooms are very spacious , the balcony was great and had a great view , interrupted at times with large cruise ships. The location for this hotel is fabulous. The staff in this hotel are excellent and very responsive if any concerns arise.

A lovely nights stay, very quiet overnight yet still a very short walk to dining, the Rocks and Sydney Harbour. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend staying here, reasonable room rates too.

Needed some upgrades and cleaning to vents, paint in spots. Was expecting a bit nicer accommodations. Bed comfortable. Had a great view when cruise ships left. Close to all spots, ferries, and trains.

Not a great choice overall. The bathroom vent can’t be turned off and makes a loud noise all night, so it’s really hard to sleep. The room wasn’t very clean, and there was visible water damage on the skirting boards. The only good thing is the location. The hotel is definitely not as good as described.

Good Sydney base

Good size room, great location. Friendly helpful staff. Condition is a little tired. A few issues make the building quite noisy-not for the light sleepers.
