"Fabulous and great food"

"Comfy clean accommodation. A bit dated but well worth the cost. Big bright room with a small bunk room which between them accommodated myself & 6 grandchildren between the ages of 10 & 14 whilst we had a couple of days at Alton Towers. We all loved the food and the portions were good. They were safe playing in the park outside the back of the restaurant. The staff were all really friendly and spent time chatting to the kids even though they were pretty lively at times."

"I booked a compact room usually these are very small but comfy. This was downstairs with only 1 other room close by. Spacious quiet and comfortable. Also cool which was nice as its unusually warm in Buxton. The piano playing in the lobby is a lovely touch "

"I had a great stay for 2 nights here whilst away on business. Smooth and friendly check in and I had an excellent kitchenette room. Check out the lovely view! Would recommended for the price."

"Handy hotel for Derby rail station, with an easy walk into the centre. Friendly staff, particularly HK, and a clean comfortable room. Would happily return the next time I stay in Derby."
