"Lovely property in a peaceful location with fantastic views over the reservoir and up the valley. Perfect for our stay and with a secure store for bikes. Some fantastic rides up on the moors. Excellent and friendly host. Only downside was all local pubs don’t open on Monday or Tuesday so take food or be prepared to drive to Pateley Bridge."

The house was the perfect base for us and is a charming and comfortable place to stay. It has everything you could need and the instructions, welcome pack and facilities were first rate. "The Cottage was lovely the rooms were very clean, however the main rd where it is situated was very busy in the early hours of the morning but that wouldn’t put ourselves from going back or recommending."

"This was our second visit to Burnside, it is an a very good location and very quiet. There are good walks from the door and many more 15 to 20 minutes drive away. Hawes has very good facilities, with shops, pubs, cafes and a very good chippie. The apartment is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a stay. Would definitely stay again. Thanks"
