"This is a beautiful very opulent home for anyone looking for a touch of luxury . The room was very spacious and my favourite thing about it was, not the comfortable bed or the large choice of tv channels but the comfy armchairs. I love a comfy armchair in the bedroom and you will not get this in most hotels. The en suite is enormous with fab power shower and a jacuzzi bath. "We absolutely loved Brownstone Lodge. Perfect location near Lough Carra in County Mayo. We were able to do some fishing when the weather allowed. The remoteness of the location was amazing, so quiet and so peaceful. And the lodge was well stocked, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the company of our caretakers and they made sure that we had everything that we needed. We had a lovely time and we cannot wait to come back!"

"Gorgeous hotel in a spectacular setting. There is a great restaraunt on the premises, and it's a short walk to the heart of the Enniscrone village. The room was massive, and our only complaint was a lack of air conditioning, and as we found in all of the hotels we stayed at in Ireland the bedding only has a duvet. As our room was on the sunny side of the hotel the room was quite warm and the windows only opened 7" or so. We were able to get a fan which helped, and used the flat sheet from one of the other beds to sleep under intead of the duvet. So I would recommend getting a room on the ocean view side if you are staying there in the summer months. The town of Enniscrone is wonderful and worth a visit in itself. We walked for hours discovering new and interesting things along the way. As was the case in all of Ireland, the people were kind and gracious. "
