"Good location for us clean quiet and tidy "

"My family and I were looking for a quiet, quaint place to stay in the Cotswolds and this ticked every box for us. The property was like a setting out of a movie. The house was perfect, well laid out and well kept. Every appliance you may need (including a clothes washer, no dryer though) was included. It can’t really stress how cool this house was and how beautiful the grounds are. My oldest son slept in the “shepherds hut” and loved it. The small village didn’t have any restaurants or pubs but...

"Our host was friendly, accommodating and easily contactable by phone. House was clean, homely, had most things we needed. Had a wonderful stay with friends and family, we would definitely stay again!!"

"The property was beautiful but there were no sheets for the sofa bed so the 5th person just had to sleep with a duvet without a sheet and blankets from the sofa"

"We had a wonderful weekend at the Old Malt House with a group of friends. The house is amazing, beautifully decorated and with lots of lovely touches. It had everything we could need, including a well stocked honesty bar with a very good selection. We loved the hot tub and sauna, and the views from the immaculate garden. Daniel was very helpful and responsive, providing extra flexibility on arrival and check in. The only disappointment was leaving! Would definitely love to return in future."

"A brilliant house in a beautiful village. The owners are so welcoming and very helpful. The house is excellent with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Walking distance to local pub and kids play area. We will be going back next year."

"We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"Lower Mill Estate has a wonderful network of paths and trails around some of the most beautiful lakes in the Cotswolds. Having now stayed here for nearly two months between sellling and buying a new property I know most of the area really well. It is wonderful to see many different species of birds and water fowl and to know about the beaver project - although sadly I never actually saw a beaver. The Ballyhoo also provided much needed coffee on occasions and was always welcoming."

"Checkin , parking and the apt were terrific - very large space. walkable to Jericho and central Oxford - or bike-able. Near the canal walk and close to Port Meadow. Possibly one of the better locations in Oxford. The apartment is modern and well equipped but there were just a few negative points more for the owners to repair. I don't normally post negatives but I think this flat/apt is def worth it with a few minor tweaks There were lights that didn't work in the bathrooms just needed...
