"Front desk could have been friendlier, but the rest of the staff were very friendly. The pool had been closed one day and I when I asked the front desk if they had any additional information (like how long it would be closed), she was a little curt and uninformative. The breakfast staff were phenomenal. A few lights were out in our room and the toilet didn't fill once. But the place had a lot of character. The fitness room could have been opened a little earlier. It didn't open until 8AM."

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the bakery is amazing. We stayed at the motor lodge and it was quaint and whimsically adorned with toile wallpaper I enjoyed the shoppes and especially Sadie’s Curiosity Shoppe. If I am ever back in the area we will stay here again."

"I typically stay at Homewood Suites up the road. My room at TownePlace was too small, even for 1 person. And what is up with having to place your keycard into this slot by the door to have some LIGHTS! This involved the kitchen, bathroom, and one of the lights on the wall in the living/bedroom. No room at all for a kitchen table. Only had a small table in the living room. There were 2 days that the room wasn’t cleaned. It was set up for cleaning everyday, not every other day. Going back to Homewood suites next year."
