Cabin One is a lovely 1-bedroom contemporary cabin on the East Coast of Tasmania in Swansea, perfectly located on the Great Eastern Drive.
Cabin One is the first cabin on the right-hand side as you drive in, built in 2020. The driveway is shared with an additional 2 cabins situated on half a hectare of open rural land. A quiet, peaceful area, there are only a couple of neighbours close by. All cabins are 10m long x 3m wide to be exact.
Take it easy at this unique tranquil getaway. Relax out the front on the deck and enjoy a glass of bubbles and cheese platter overlooking the open-rural setting. perfectly positioned north facing, you get to enjoy the sun all day.
Open living area, with a leather lounge suite, luxurious foot ottomans, a smart TV, breakfast bar and well-equipped kitchen with gas cooking. It has a suitable size fridge/freezer perfect for 2 guests and convection oven for your convenience.
Wake up to the sunrise over the Hazard Mountains, with a countryside view.
1 super comfy queen-sized bed to suit most. 1 fully equipped bathroom that also houses the laundry for your convenience. A washing machine is provided, but no dryer.
Perfectly located, it is only a short 5-minute walk to the beach, straight down Gordon Street where you will arrive to the boat ramp and a comfortable 1.5km to the Town Centre.
We are trying to create a beautiful space for all to enjoy a relaxing stay. The gardens are slowly becoming established to create more privacy between all 3 cabins and other neighbours, please make sensible assumptions of what we are trying to achieve once it is all grown up. This is very much appreciated.

"Cabin One" is the first cabin on the right – The back of the cabin is clearly marked with the number "1" on it, which is near the carpark spot.
The Swansea township has the Bark Mill Tavern & Bakery and Thirsty Camel Bottle Shop next door. There are two IGA grocery stores, fuel stations, Artifakt Gallery & Café, Saltshaker Restaurant & Takeaway Pizza, Pharmacy, The Horny Cray Seafood & the Swansea Golf Club is a course right next to the beach. Treat yourself to some berries and handmade chocolates at Kate’s Berry Farm. If you love a wine, be sure to visit a local winery.

The ferry across to Maria Island is easily accessible and located at Triabunna, a 35-minute scenic drive south along the coastline.
The famous Wineglass Bay is a 50-minute drive north-east. Make sure you have your Parks Pass organised before entering the National Park.
Swansea is approximately 1hr 45 mins from both Hobart and Launceston.
