Little Bee Woods

$75 cleaning fee!!!! $50 per dog pet fee, up to two dogs. 10% discount for a 3-6 day stay, 15% for a 6-29 day stay, 20% for a month or longer stay. The Cabin at Little Bee Woods was completed in December of 2022, and we are excited to welcome our guests to this modern and comfortable cottage and grounds. The cabin has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms that sleeps eight guests. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed with a twin, and the secondary bedroom has a queen and a twin. The living room has a convertible, yet comfortable, sofa to accommodate additional guests. The great room has an open floor plan, a gourmet kitchen, a large dining table, and a living room with a flat-screen TV. The entryway to the cottage is a two hundred square foot timber frame screened-in porch with a table perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail while watching the sunset over Watch Knob. We are the ideal spot for a romantic getaway, family vacation, couples vacation, or micro-events. Black Mountain is fifteen minutes door-to-door, and Asheville is twenty-five minutes. Come on up and relax in the Swannanoa Valley.

Due to a change of plans this was a last minute booking. The house was lovey, lots of light and space. The decoration and fittings were perfect for a restful evening after driving along and exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway. The kitchen was fitted out with everything you could possibly need. We would not hesitate to return hopefully for a little longer next time.

Lovely mountain retreat convenient to Asheville
This gem of a mountain retreat well deserves its 5-star rating! It is a beautiful, new structure with all the amenities you could ask for, with an ideal layout for 2 couples. By far the favorite part is the screened in porch overlooking the mountains — perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We even saw a bear stroll by (we were safely ensconced on the porch). Only a 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville, with easy access to all of the outdoor activities you might want to enjoy in the area. Do be aware that the house is perched atop a mountain accessed via a steep gravel road with a few hairpin turns — best to arrive during daylight the first time.

Quiet, secluded getaway
This property is one of the better ones we've rented for family vacations and it's exactly as advertised. If you're looking for a quiet place to wind down and watch the sunset through the trees from a cozy screened-in porch after exploring the greater Asheville area, then this is for you. The house has everything you need for a comfy stay, including a relaxing hot tub.

Peaceful secluded little spot in the mountains
We absolutely loved our stay here. Charles was wonderful and easy going to work with. The surroundings were exactly what we were hoping for, the cabin clean, cute, yet spacious. I don't think there is anything he forgot to supply the kitchen with. We spent several mornings and evenings out on the porch enjoying the view and nature watching. We highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay a very new home on the mountain. Kitchen was great to use, grilling outside was very nice, and the hottub with the stars tied it all together! Highly recommend for couples or a family, there was more than enough room for groups!

We had such a wonderful time! Charles communicated with us before, during, and after our stay to ensure that we were well taken care of. We rented Little Bee Woods as our vacation home during a trip to Asheville and were so happy with our stay! The home was beautiful, clean, and sat on the most beautiful piece of property. We had the opportunity to meet Charles during our stay and he was so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have picked a better place to enjoy our time in North Carolina. Little Bee Woods gave us the tranquility we were searching for while still being close proximity to the city. We would 100% rent here again!

Man! We couldn’t say more about this place and the property owner. A little peace of heaven tucked up into the mountains with all the amenities any one wanting a get away could need. Beautiful Cabin nestled in the woods
Took a long weekend Spring Break trip with our family (and dogs) and had an absolutely wonderful trip. Charles was a great host. He had the place looking pristine for us and was very attentive and available via text whenever I asked for recommendation, or had a question about the house. The kitchen is incredible and the various methods to prepare coffee was something that really stood out to us. Can't wait to come back and enjoy this cabin again. Nestled perfectly between Black Mountain and Asheville, accessing either town was a breeze! Can not recommend this cabin enough!

Our stay at Little Bee Woods was awesome! I like to cook when I go on getaways and this rental has more than what you need to cook any dish. The place was clean upon arrival and the host was very personable. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to get away and enjoy the mountains.

PA School Friend Getaway
My friends and I stayed here during our holiday break from PA school & absolutely LOVED our experience. Little Bee Woods is the perfect place for privacy & relaxation. We even got to see a few black bears off of the front porch one morning. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked & they even had some games for us to play while we were there. Would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking to stay near Asheville for a getaway.

The pictures of the property do not do justice to how beautiful the house and property actually are. Everything about the house/property exceeded our expectations. We had such a good time that we did not want to have to leave. We definitely are hoping to be able to go back again next year.

Little Bee gets an A!
This is a lovely property. Everything was exactly as the listing said it would be and more. The house was beautifully designed and curated. Completely charming and a perfect getaway. Charles was easy to connect with and totally attentive to any requests and questions. It was a great space for just my husband and me, but would also be great for our family as well with two bedrooms and plenty of sleeping spots. We loved our time here and would absolutely stay again!

Amazing Mountain Home!
Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us! The home was immaculate and the views were stunning! We loved sitting on the deck in the morning listening to the birds as the wind blew through the trees. It was so peaceful and it made it difficult to leave for a day of hiking. At night we loved listening to music on the porch, sitting by the fire, and relaxing in the hot tub! The beds are super comfortable and the home literally has EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a stay! We got the pleasure of meeting Charles and his super sweet dogs! Charles is super cool, and an amazing host! He was so accommodating and super responsive! I cannot thank him enough for allowing us to celebrate our 15 year anniversary on his property!
