Cabin, Mtn. Views, w/Hot Tub, Min’s to Asheville or Black Mtn., 3K SF 3 Story!!!
Amazing views of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Mt. Mitchell is what you will find staying at this true log cabin! Soak in all the view’s in the 6 person hot tub on the lower deck. You will have plenty of room in this three story cabin for family and friends. Your only minutes from town Asheville and Black Mtn but tucked away in your own private retreat. Enjoy the rocking chairs and views on the expansive covered front porch and relaxing on the back deck with views galore.
The master bed room (King) and master bath, is on the main floor with two story great room and gas fireplace. Open floor plan from great room to the dinner room and access to the upper deck along with a well equipped kitchen to prepare meals. Laundry room in kitchen area washer and dryer also half bath on main floor.
Upstairs are two bedrooms with (queen) size beds, also a full size bathroom sits between the two bedrooms. Some of the best views are from these two rooms looking toward the mountain’s in the back.
Downstairs is the TV room with sectional couch and 55in smart tv for Wi-Fi access to your personal subscription. Wi-Fi has connections throughout the cabin. Pleas note there are 3 routers 1 located on each floor for Wi-Fi connection.
Downstairs you will find another kitchen that has a working refrigerator to keep your drinks in and close to the hot tub. Also a sink area, however the stove in this kitchen has been disconnected.
Just off from the downstairs kitchen you will find the game room it has a full size ping pong table and two full size classic arcade style games there are over 3000 games installed on theses systems. Just outside on the lower deck you will find the 6 person hot tub along with the amazing views. You will find the bunk bed room with single on top and full size bed on the bottom and another full size bath room just off from the game room.
On your first time to Cozy Acorn please plan to arrive during daylight hours. As they say to get to the awesome views you have to climb the mountain. With that being said most of the roads in Laurel Acres are gravel and very steep and some places only enough room for one vehicle to pass. During normal weather conditions any vehicle will be able to make the journey with no problem. 4WD and AWD vehicles will make it easier to get there and would be necessary during inclement weather snow and ice along with chains installed on the vehicle. On your way up keep your eyes out for wildlife you may see bears, deer or turkey. With that being said it is recommended not to leave food in your vehicle or leave your vehicle unlocked or any garbage outside bears will go through your vehicle if they smell food inside it.
Cell service contact your cell provider to see if your service will work in this area. My service has issues when driving up the mountain but after arriving at the cabin my cell service works great
If your planning on using the outdoor fire pit cut wood can be purchased at some of our local gas stations or the local grocery store.
Please note that the gas fireplaces are seasonal and are not operational between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Please note there is a security camera located on the workshop that faces the driveway this is for security reasons only and is not monitored 24-7 it records automatically. There is also a Ring Doorbell that is on the front porch at the front door. It records audio and video to a cloud.

This property was such a beautiful location! We Al had a wonderful time roasting marshmallows by the fire pit while watching the sun go down. Kevin was a great host and we would definitely consider coming again!

Kevin manages an absolutely beautiful mountain home. Check in was seamless, everything about this rental exceeded our expectations from the listing. Communication was consistent. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone, especially families looking for the ideal getaway. Just remember to bring an AWD vehicle like we did! Thank you Kevin!

We rented this cabin for a weekend getaway with friends. Nice property high up in the NC mountains with great views from the outside deck. There were a few small cleaning issues I mentioned privately to the owner but overall it was a good experience. We were visited daily by a juvenile bear so keep an eye out for it coming around!

The cabin is just so perfect, great view, fully stacked and the location is peaceful and closed to everything. You will see a lot of wildlife to get to the cabin and at the cabin. Our two 10 years old enjoy the arcade et ping pong table while we in the spa.
We stayed there 4 nights. (Not enough) Sunrise and Sunset are spectacular, we had a different show every day and night. The rooms are big and confortable.
Kevin the owner is so available and answer questions within minutes. He is always there to give you the best experience for your stay. We can’t wait to go back.

We were very happy with our stay. The view from the back deck is unbelievable! I took so many pictures it was ridiculous. The cabin was nice. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of space for all of us (we had 8 adults and one toddler). Adequate kitchen supplies. Some things a little out-dated, but everything worked properly and we had no real complaints. The host responded quickly to any inquiries and we had no issues. The drive is a little scary but it's doable. Definitely go in the daytime the first time if at all possible. The area has a ton to offer and we will definitely return.

Convenient location to area attractions. The cabin provided basic necessities. The hot tub was really nice and provided great views of the mountains. The fire pit was nice as well. The family enjoyed the game room.
