"The Appartment itself was great but it is advertised as a bed and breakfast but they do not do breakfast which we only found out once we arrived. So this is misleading. They also don’t have laundry services as stated in the property info or have secure luggage storage as stated, you can leave your bags in the lobby but anyone with access to the building then has access to your bags. The Appartment itself was very nice and clean. It is very central to everything in old town. "

"Loved the personal welcome! Loved the helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Really good location for Split central - but without the noise and the hubbub. Ideal for short stays. Also really loved the little touches, real candles lit around the pool every night, breakfast selection on a cake tier, beautifully presented. "

"A comfortable and peaceful one night stay in Split old town. We arranged a transfer from the airport as our flight arrived late evening. Our driver walked us to the front door of the property as it was in a pedestrian area. I think we would have found it difficult to find in the dark."

"This was one of those Vacations we were just getting a room for one night, as we were leaving on a Boat the next day! The apartment was small, but beautifully well done, clean, efficient and was one of those moments you remember in Croatia! The owner actually picked up or friends late from the Airpot and drove them to the Apartment!"

"Absolutely fantastic accomodation. Although it is a 'B&B', it really functions as a hotel. It is a brand new modern facility. Rooms are very spacious, bedrooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean. Beautiful scenery view from the windows. Carpark in the front of the hotel makes traveling easy and stress-free. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was a decent spread of good quality food. Overall enjoyable stay. The only thing that let this place down was that the Wifi really didn't work...

"We were able to book the property even after their front desk had closed. We received no information about self check in nor were we notified that no one would be able to be reached until the following day. After a long day of traveling, we arrived at the location only to find no one there, all lights off, no knowledge of where to leave the car, and no answer on the number we tried to call several times. "Really close to centre less than 5 mins to the Riva. Lovely modern property, clean. Breakfast was OK and to be expected for such a small hotel. Continental with no hot options. However lots of places nearby if you wanted something like this. To improve would recommend adding a safe to the room. Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"Place was immaculately clean, well equipped with toilet roll and basic kitchen supplies. Hosts relatives live near the house so when it rained they removed the wet doormat and looked after the place. Beautiful location, roads took a bit of getting used to. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "The hotel and staff were generally excellent. However, the hotel had corporate events on during our stay. This meant that some of the hotel’s facilities were either not available to us, or too busy, including restaurants and pub. This would not have been a problem for us had there been any warning or notice to the hotel’s other guests. There was no such notification and as a result we weren’t able to plan around this and had to eat out "

"I honestly loved every moment I spent in this hotel. The staff were great and the room was fantastic. I also enjoyed eating at the Caper Grill restaurant, and the pool area was beautiful to look at in my opinion. Also I had a treatment in the Spalato spa which was great. Only small thing was that my room did not have a fridge - it looked as if the fridge had been removed from the cabinet. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. "

Plaza Marchi Old Town - MAG Quaint & Elegant Boutique Hotels

"There is very little not to like about this establishment. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. All the amenities worked great. The bed was not the most comfortable I have ever slept in, but it was OK. The property has an upstairs terrace where you can look out over the city, which is handy if you just want to chill out. I would say that the elevator is on the first floor so no matter what you have to climb some stairs. That is not a problem for me, but could be a problem for other people. Breakfast is not included. But you can purchase breakfast at one of their Sister hotels down the street. I did that one of the nights and the breakfast was good. The walk may be inconvenient and/or annoying for some people. And lastly, I will say that the location is absolutely fantastic with great access to everything going on in old town Split."
