"A superb stay, very smart hotel. Incredibly convenient for me and my work. A pity about the loud guests next door (had to bang on the wall a few times to shut them up at 11pm) - not the fault of the hotel but desperately frustrating. Otherwise clean with good amenities. Housekeeping switched over the slightly smelly towels in my room (again I suspect a one-off). Would definitely stay again. Very pleased with the overall product. Superb value for prime London location. "

"The inn was a great find. It has character, it is a 10 minute bus ride to Heathrow, it is in a neighborhood setting that makes it all feel comfortable. The food was delicious and all the staff were very accommodating for the 2 days I was there. If you pass up an opportunity to stay there, you are missing out. "

"Great find at a reasonable price compared to many others in London. Great transport links as less than a 5 minute walk to the Mile End tube station. Lovely staff on arrival who gave a very warm welcome. It isn’t a fully manned 24 hour reception though so be wary if that’s what you need. Pleasantly surprised by the triple room. It was really spacious and had lovely Temple spa toiletries. Fully equipped with everything you need, if I’m being picky, I didn’t like the colour of the walls as found...

"We booked three rooms as a group of friends - when staff realized we were all together they were kind enough to coordinate so that our rooms were all on one floor which we really appreciated. "This Biulding oozes history and charm. While it is clearly a little tired and basic on the accommodation, which is reflected in the price. The breakfast was exceptional and amazing value! (it was inclusive). All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Chloe stood out in particular, she was very enthusiastic and informative telling us about the history of the building and going that extra mile in customer service and attention to detail. "The Crown & Cushion is a delightful, old characterful pub in a convenient location. In line with its charming character, stairs are steep to rooms and floorboards wonky, so not good for people with reduced mobility. The en-suite in the room was large, bed comfortable. Had dinner and breakfast, food is great. All staff are friendly and helpful, particularly Carlos who was brilliant. "
