"The only fault that couldâ€™ve been better is the washer/dryer had an odd smell- and when used (with washing powder) the clothes came out smelling the same as the machine which was very unpleasant. So this could do with possibly cleaning?"

"Very spacious and clean. Nicely decored and homely. Everything you need is there and the host is very good and responsive to queries. The lodge is situated on a nice quiet camp site and has its own single carspace right outside. Basic toiletries (soap and showergel) were provided as were towels and bedding. tea, coffee and sugar were also there and the host provided a small pint of milk and a small pack of biscuits on arrival. "Missing the bed as was better than ours at home, as well as the jacuzzi. If you have the funds well worth getting the big lodges. Plenty of space, amazing views"

"We absolutely loved our break away and will definitely be visiting again The hosts had thought of everything. A lovely welcome package including a bottle of wine and chocolate as well as milk and bread. Very thoughtful. The host greeted us when we arrived and was very friendly. Our 15month old had just learnt to walk and loved the spacious lodge to run around in. He also loved being able to see the cows from the room he slept in! Thank you so much "

"Served its purpose for a one night stop over, basic and a bit tired, stains on sofa and carpet, only one double sofa which sank when you sat on it so the third person had to sit on a hard dining chair. Basic utensils, no wine glasses but did have a gravy boat 😁 comfortable beds, met by the pleasant host, all in all fine "

"The hotel service was fantastic; I checked in after midnight and was greeted with a smile. However, the sofa bed was uncomfortable due to the bars at the sides and end, and there weren't enough pillows. On the positive side, the room was clean. I did find the breakfast to be overpriced."
