Staff was nice and check-in was easy but it is definitely a trek if you are wanting to explore Lucerne and use this as a home base. Without a car it is about a 1 hour trip via public transport. And Ubers/Taxis will run you north of $150 to/from Lucerne."

"The staff are so helpful! Breakfast buffet was wonderful! The rooms were clean, well furnished & well maintained. We had a balcony with a pretty view of the mountains. It is located very close to Pfingstegg lift and amazing Gletscherschlucgt Glacier Canyon. We walked to Grindalwald train station - do not get off at terminal station. They did a bag of laundry for me & returned it to the room while we were gone. Restaurants & church in walking distance. Easy to get to lifts for mountains. Would stay there again if I am lucky enough to return. "
