"A lovely spacious apartment as a stopover before hopping on an early morning ferry. Only downside was that when I requested a plug for the bath I was told it was there the night before and that I should take a shower! 😧 Part of this “fawlty towers” moment was the language barrier, and that they also run a restaurant downstairs and seemed overly stretched and understaffed. Mon séjour faisait suite à une étape particulière dans ma vie . Éric m’a accompagnée avec une délicatesse et une écoute exceptionnelles . This stately manor house has a “Masterpiece Theater “ feel inside and out, and Karine is a terrific host in this beautiful fin de siecle home with 21st century-appointed Room decor. Marine provides an amazing breakfast for a small up-charge, and well worth it. Sh is an equestrian and the Villa is on horse property in rural Tamerville near Valognes. One caveat, you must have a car 🚗 Transportation options in rural Normandy are very limited....

"The house is modern and equipped with all of the essentials and much more. Beds are comfortable and clean. Beautiful garden and a fabulous sandy beach just a few minutes walk. The location is served by local shops and a bar/restaurant with a basic menu but the food is superbly cooked and is also fairly inexpensive."
