"Our stay at The Banyon Tree B&B was amazing. We had nine in our party, everyone had their own space and multiple wonderful spaces to gather together, particularly at the amazing pool and hot tub with incredible views of Maui and the water. The grounds are spectacular with gorgeous plantings everywhere. The host, Heleina, was so kind and responsive to any issue that came up. The spaces were clean, comfortable and welcoming. The house is situated in the hills of Makawao, away from the touristy areas with only a short drive to downtown Makawao or Paia for a little shopping and dining, which cannot be beat. I would highly recommend the Banyon B&B."

"This house is a wonderful set up for a large family group. We had two families and a set of grandparents and with the 5 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths it really was ideal. It was easily walkable to a lovely beach, although the beach is on more of a bay area so small waves and the water is not as clear as other areas of Maui. The pool is awesome to have to cool off in the evenings and the kids loved it. Our only struggle was the lack of AC in the main room. We did have the screen doors in, but the one screen is ripped at the bottom and we're pretty sure there was a critter in the kitchen some nights so we closed the doors at night. We were sure to put all the food in the cabinets or fridge overnight. It did get hot particularly for cooking a large meal, which we did regularly with 11 people. We LOVED the lanai and spent most of the time out there. This is an older home and it has a lot of character and the lawn and garden areas were beautiful. But, being an older home there is some wear and tear on the property to be expected. However, if you're looking for a place that is on the beach with a pool in Maui that can sleep a crowd... there aren't too many other options. And the groundskeeper, Darrell, was awesome and so very helpful any time we had an issue! Thanks, Darrell!"

"Hosts are very nice and friendly! They live on property which makes asking for help very easy.Eve was there when we arrived to give us a quick tour and overview of the place. She was available via text whenever I had a question, which put our minds at ease.Our family of 10 found the house a really great fit for our family trip. We enjoyed being able to walk around the property and taking in the peaceful garden as well. Kids were curious and entertained by the chickens, cats, and very friendly dogs. The Jenga and puzzles were a fun touch while we were in between meals at the house.I will say that during our stay because it rained, the mosquitos were out in full force. So getting in and out of the car was always a mad dash. There were also a few geckos roaming around, which is to be expected, and yet will always be surprising when you see them. These were not issues because we understood being on a larger nature property, it comes with the territory.They were even great when we forgot a few things at the house and saved them for us to pick up. Truly so nice!"

"Fara's place is truly a gem. We have stayed in similar condos on Maui and other islands and Fara's was by far the nicest, cleanest, and with the easiest access to parking, laundry, and pool. We would definitely stay there again. We loved the layout of the condo, the comfy bed, the nice shower, the AC, the full kitchen and the pool."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this location for a family of four. Location was great. It was in a couple miles down from the main area of Kīhei. The evenings and days were calm and quiet. Pool area and grill area was close and convenient. Had new beach chairs and umbrella which was nice. I even left all my shirts behind somehow and they shipped them back to me. Would stay here again."

"We loved the three resident cats on the property and the whispering pine trees with hammocks. A very serene and peaceful place with nice breakfast buffet and real chill vibes. Cool wildlife too - geckos, anoles, toads, snails, and birds. Overall a lovely place. Best of all ... The staff was nice, helpful, and just all around great folks."
