5 Bedroom 2nd Row Home with Heated Pool and Spectacular Marsh and Ocean Views

This new, 5-bedroom home, finished in May 2016, boasts the best decks on the island. Enjoy ocean and marsh views from two levels of wrap around porches that ensure plenty of sun or shade to meet your mood at any time of the day. From the back decks we have spotted deer, coyotes, and several bird species. From the front deck, you can see dolphins playing in the wake of shrimping boats, rabbits hopping in the dunes, and on May 6th, we even spotted a whale breaching.

The CAMA public beach access directly across the street makes getting to the beach a breeze, and a private pool, shaded at mid-day, offers a relaxing alternative to the ocean. Your family will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the water.

The home is built on an inverted floor plan with four bedrooms on the first level: facing the ocean are: a six-person bunk bed room that is perfect for kids and a queen bedroom, and facing the marsh are one queen bedroom and one bedroom with two twin beds. The master bedroom, with a king bed, provides an amazing ocean view from the second level. Also on the second level are: the kitchen, dining room and living room, all with views of both the ocean and marsh. This house has beds for 8 adults and 6 children. 10 adults can also comfortably sleep with two adults per bedroom.

This house has two levels of wrap around porches to optimize vistas of the ocean and marsh. Enjoy views of the ocean from rocking chairs on the top deck or the first floor deck. Enjoy a meal and a spectacular marsh view from the top rear deck - you might spot deer, raccoons and coyotes and you will definitely see several birds and crabs. Relax by the marsh on the first floor rear deck with cushioned patio furniture and a 4 person table perfect for a board game or a snack. The front and rear decks are connected through large side decks which provide great play areas for kids. Should pool time prove too much fun, take a break at the pool-side, shaded picnic table. It is a great spot for lunch and it's close to the charcoal grill available for renters to use. If you're visiting us in the off-season, the pool can be heated for your comfort.

This was the second time my family, eight of us, stayed at this house. We enjoy the location of the house, just across the road from the beach access with a view of the ocean and the marsh. The house was clean which is a necessity for me, and has enough room for our family to spread out. The owner is always very prompt to respond and help in any way. Already planning to stay here again next year!

This house was the perfect location with the public access to beach almost right across the street. The views are amazing from every room in the house, the kitchen had everything you could need, and we really enjoyed the outside space and pool. The host stayed in touch and was flexible with check-in and check-out as we stayed during off season. Definitely will return here in the future!

Having stayed at VRBO beach homes for last several years I rate this one at the top of the list. Home and furnishings are exceptional for a rental home. Marsh view is tranquil and two vacant lots directly across makes ocean view great. Beach access is also directly across street. I enjoyed sitting on multilevel deck nearly every day. First time we booked two years in a row at same place.

This home is in a fantastic location with both a view of the marsh and an unobstructed view of the ocean. The heated pool was such a nice bonus for the kids. Everyone was comfortable thanks to the large open living room and kitchen and plenty of outdoor seating options. If you are a light sleeper and prefer very dark rooms to sleep, just beware that there are shades on most windows but they’ll still let in alot of light.

This is our second trip to the property and it is just as great as the first time! Comments made by all of us multiple times was how clean it was and how it had everything you needed from bath towels to kitchen equipment. We booked again for next year! It’s apparently becoming a family tradition to stay there and so easy to work with Monica. She makes the booking and necessary information you need very easy and streamlined.

2nd year here. Great location and kids like having pool when weather or heat keeps ocean off limits. Overall great house but it has been a rental for a while and starting to show use. Nothing terrible but this is a premium price point so the details should be a little more polished.

This is my second stay in this beautiful home. I was here last spring with friends and knew I wanted to come back and bring my family. Staying at the Purple Porpoise is start to finish a perfect vacation experience. The home is clean and inviting with lovely finishes and decor. The views are truly stunning and can be viewed from the decks or from inside through the numerous windows. The heated pool is an added delight- perfect for late afternoon early evening Spring weather. So easy to communicate with Monica and truly awesome to vacation in this incredible home. Can’t wait to come back!

Wish the beds had mattress covers, 2 bathrooms downstairs had lots of mold and moldy shower curtains. Kitchen was not clean when we arrived as well as previous tenants forgot to leave out trash and had to contact owners to supply another bin. Owners were very helpful. We loved the house otherwise and it’s location was perfect.

The home is in a beautiful location with amazing views. However the TV was broken in the main room. The internet did not work well enough to do any sort of work that some of us needed to get done. The owner did respond and said she would fix the issues but nothing was fixed. The kitchen sink was broken the shower head and finally the home was not cleaned very well along with the pool. I was told I would get a refund for the TV being broken.

We loved this home. It had everything we needed. There were pool and beach toys as well as beach chairs. Although I didn’t need them, they provided pack-n-plays and a high chair, abundant towels and wash cloths. I would stay agin!!!
