"Just as advertised. Cozy cabin with a 1950s feel. Kitchen supplies felt minimal but had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Perfect for 2 - 4 people. Beautiful lake was clear, sandy and shallow for quite a ways out. Fishing was awesome for large and small mouth bass. Found a few super-sized crappies, too. Loons, pelicans, eagles, hummingbirds and sunsets over the water added to the ambiance. Great if you're looking for a simple, quiet get away with good fishing."

"The host, Steve, was wonderful. Excellent communication, very responsive and informative. Wonderful blend of rustic and comfort with the cabin. You get a lakeside deck for coffee and water fowl watching.Host includes a good fishing boat and life jackets, as well as the heads up on entertaining places to go, (and not go).My only advise is to cabin goers over 60 that may have arthritis, or mobility issues such as hip replacements, or have had knee surgery. It is several steps to the water. The steps are nice and sturdy with sturdy hand rails and nice, steady dock.Thank you, Steve for a nice and relaxing week.Matt and Jackie"

"Aspen is a BEAUTIFUL cabin, also exceptionally neat & clean. Josh and Kristen always responded very quickly to our messages and were wonderfully accommodating to our requests. My husband & I were desperately in need of a peaceful, relaxing getaway and our time at Aspen was exactly what we were hoping for. It was a truly a blessing. Thank you so much for everything, Josh & Kristen, especially for the "special" touches. "

"Clare was wonderful and made us feel so welcomed, even our dogs had a little welcome treat when we checked in. The space is roomy with everything you need. We enjoyed ice fishing, shopping near by, and spending time with our dogs on the lake. This is a great place and we enjoyed our stay. "
