"The hotel is absolutely beautiful and perfectly located on a private beach within walking distance of many amenities. I was however very disappointed at the way Club Cascades’ front desk supervisor and Expedia handled my booking. While checking in Veronica, the front desk supervisor mentioned that we would have to move not even half way through our reservation. "This was our second time staying in the villas at Montecristo. The resort is beautiful and has much to offer. Dining options are great and shuttle transportation is prompt and drivers are courteous. The villas are spacious and the private pool and hot tub are top on our priority since pools in the resort are crowded. The villa was clean, but the floors needed to be mopped. The villas could also use some updating and TLC. Overall, great place and I would return. "

"The villa was superb. Having our own pool and spa made this a wonderful place to hang out. Used the BBQ many nights and sat around the fire pit every night enjoying the weather. Although the area had a local shuttle, we used a rental car instead. (Would highly recommend insuring you have a vehicle as restaurants, beaches and town are about 15-30 minutes away.)
