"What you don't know when booking with Expedia is the quality of the unit/room the resort will put you in. Because you don't book directly and through a second/third party you don't get what other guest receive when booking directly with the resort. They put us up in a "privately owned" room which was part of the "200" units. So the room or rooms will only be updated upon the owners responsibility.
