"We enjoyed our stay at Anker hotel. The room was very nice for the price we paid. The location was great for using public transportation. There is a bus and tram stop in front of the hotel which we used multiple times. The breakfast buffet was amazing. On the corner is a convenient store to purchase food and bus tickets (we bought a 24 hour transport ticket there). The front desk is very helpful and friendly with answering questions about the area. This hotel has no air conditioning, but we just opened the windows and the room was comfortable. With the windows closed it was quiet. With the windows opened it was noisy."

"I had a really nice time at this hotel. It’s a no frills hotel, which is very nice and easy to self check in & out. There is a parking garage you can park at right across the street and you are only about a mile from central train station. I would stay here again and I loved Norway!!!"

"The hotel lobby and our room were both tastefully decorated. The young girl checking us in was very professional and nice that we didn’t have to wait in line. The breakfast buffet was super busy both mornings but tables were quickly cleaned and staff even came by to pour coffee. So much food to choose from though I think they should have included some pastries and muffins. Location is great, right near the Opera House and train station. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "
