"Beautiful well kept hotel. We stayed in one of their suites overlooking the golf course. Partial view blockage from some high shrubs. Suite was very spacious and clean. Everything worked. Service all round was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the lack of a refrigerator and microwave in the room. There was a “cooler” which puzzled us as to what its purpose was, because it certainly neither cooled anything down or kept anything cool. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend it. We also played golf at the adjoining golf club. Again a wonderful experience, really well maintained course. My wife and I planned just one game, but couldn’t resist a second round the following morning. The course had a full range of challenges for every golfer. We rented clubs and the sets they gave us were spanking new and really high quality. "

Special mention of Beata the Accommodation Manager, she makes everyone so well and keep such high standards, she is a wonderful asset to the Silken Thomas. I love staying there and often use it as a base, even for Dublin. I look forward to returning. The range of food is always great with very fast service."

"Great place to unwind after a week in rural Ireland. About 40 mins from the airport, we enjoyed the quiet & luxury. There is a walled garden & walk thru the woods just beyond that are worth checking out. "Two Bedroom House" that we stayed in feels like an upscale condo, nice bathroom, but be aware 2nd bath is a 1/2 bath on the 1st floor"
