"The staff was very nice and friendly from the time I arrived. The room was clean and ready even for an early check-in. The rooms are a bit dated so don’t expect “modern”. The breakfast was great and they even made the eggs and sausage when I came down so they were hot and fresh. Overall I really enjoyed my stay even though the property is a bit dated. The family who owns and runs it are super nice and work so hard to give you a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to folks but just don’t have high expectations of the property itself. The hot tub was great and the pool looked amazing but didn’t get in."

"We had an amazing stay! The house was the perfect place for our big family to spend the weekend together. It was incredibly spacious, very clean, and the kitchen was one of the best-stocked I've ever seen. The host was also fantastic and responded quickly to any issues that came up, making sure everything was taken care of right away! The only thing to be aware of is the number of stairs down to the lake, it's a bit of a trek :) Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again!"

"Overall we had a good stay at the Benson Motel. It was definitely worth it for the price. There was a Roku TV in the room which was appreciated. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. My only complaint was how muggy and damp the room and bed felt. There was a ceiling tile over the bath tub that was saturated and appeared to have possible mold spots. Other than that I have no complaints. The check in process was super quick and easy."
