"I see why others mention the neighborhood, but although there are some properties that are questionable we felt safe and the neighborhood was quiet. If you plan to cook during your stay, there are not many options for cooking pans/utensils. So bring casserole dishes, a frying pan if you prefer “non Teflon” type. There aren’t items like tin foil, plastic wrap or zip locks either. These are not complaints however, just informative for the next person. It would be nice if there were TVs in each room but we made it work. No fans in the rooms either, again just a note. Overall it was spacious and the outdoor area was nice and somewhat secluded and private. The place was clean and beds were comfortable."

"This place was absolute perfection from the second we walked until we walked out. The friendliest staff and owners. Super comfortable beds and a delicious fine dining steak house right in the building. The grounds are stunning with peacocks, bamboo and a stunning fountain with seating all around. I couldn’t believe how good of a deal the Putnam Lodge. If I could give 10/5 stars!!!!!!!"

"We so enjoyed our time at this quaint, serene property. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, close to several springs, it offers peace and serenity with amenities close by. Very cozy inside with lots of room and seating options to enjoy the outdoors. We saw beautiful Florida nature and wildlife including an otter! We will be back!"

"What an amazing home! We had everything we needed. The home is very comfortable. The master bath has a really big walk in shower. The water pressure was really good too. We really enjoyed the large kitchen and learning how to cook on an induction cooktop (I am buying one soon for our home). Next time we want to book Captain Cas on a scalloping trip!"

"The location was wonderful peaceful and serene but even better were the hosts. Tammy and Mike were very helpful, kind, and thoughtful of our needs. We would highly recommend this to anyone. What better then sitting on your porch looking at the Suwanee River with deer, turkeys, hawks and our favorite hummingbirds to entertain you."
