"Parts of the hotel have fresh paint and carpet, but most of it needs a lot of TLC. It's poorly maintained. The breakfast room was dirty. They only had 1 person there to clean, refill and maintain the room. He was not able to keep up. They should have more help. It was gross. The staff were friendly though. We did not use the pool."

"Your breakfasts are over-priced and lack any kind of options. Having to pay extra for any breakfast drink is also a factor is this rating. Having to pay nearly $20.00 for two scrambled eggs, 2 breakfast patties and toast and a juice drink I feel is exorbitant. Thankfully, I don't drink coffee or the price would have been even worse!"

"SUPER SKETCHY - STAY AWAY!!! I booked this hotel for my son and my nephew for a last minute visit to Madison and unfortunately didn't read reviews before doing so. I had called prior to arrival to request an early check in, but they were unable to accommodate. I asked specifically if they could get in their room if they returned very late, and was told they could as the front desk is staffed 24 hours. When they arrived, they checked on their room & were told they couldn't check in at 2am and would have to come back to check in or their room would be given away. So, back and forth to downtown & more in Uber $$. While the room appeared clean, the entire hotel stank of cigarettes. Their Uber driver said he almost didn't accept the fare because it's usually only prostitutes that request them from that hotel. A homeless man in front of the hotel asked them what they were doing there and said it was sketchy. When they returned at 2am, their door was open and their bags were missing. They ensured no one was in their room and went to sleep. At 8am they received a call asking if they were supposed to be in that room. The were told they gave them the wrong room and had come and taken their bags out of it. They did get them back before leaving. There's more but I'm out of space.... RUN THE OTHER WAY! No idea how ANYONE could give this a good review. While they aren't seeing any signs, Google has reports of bed bugs. Taking precautions to be safe."

"If you want to buy drugs or listen to people fix their broken car right outside your window, then this is your kind of place. First room they put me in smelled of smoke so bad I thought the person was standing next to me and blowing smoke in my face. The second still smelled but I was stuck at that point. Clearly people were smoking in the rooms, not just cigarettes. Worst experience ever. Cars outside my window with tarps over them and people were clearly living in them, only to come out at night and be loud."

"Beds & pillows were very comfortable. The shower was not as clean as should be expected but not horrible. The hot tub was emptied & out of order which we really wanted to use.!! It was one of the reasons we booked there was for the hot tub. Should have been informed about that. Other than that it was an okay stay in a quiet motel which was nice!"

"The air conditioner was broke. The TV was cracked. The room was so dirty, the floors were sticky. The white drapes were grey at the bottom. It smelled like body odor and smoke when we walked in- I had to go buy air freshener. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. The only good thing was the breakfast, it was very good and had a lot of options."
