This is a small 8 room hotel above a restaurant. The rooms were quite and clean. But no Ice machine, No staff until 11 a.m. when restaurant opens. The bed was comfortable.

I have stayed at this hotel several times before and have had four different rooms which are all different and have their own charm. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it is nice to have a restaurant and bar downstairs that closes at 10pm so it is not noisy at night either. My only complaints though, are it doesn't look like anyone has washed and of the windows of the entire establishment in over a year, they really need cleaned. In addition to that the lightbulbs in the room are really dim. I was hard to read or play cards at night. The maid was nice enough to bring another light for my room, but it had low wattage bulbs in it too. Some of the rooms really need a small desk or table to work on too. Will I stay here again? Yes, but I hope they improve the issues mentioned.

Right when we walked in Jenna was so amazing! She answered our questions and got us into our sweet little room. We had a jetted tub and comfy bed and pillows. We ate at Bob’s in the hotel had good drinks and good food. Not a lot happening in Sumas but the lodge is awesome and so are its people. We will be back. 💕
