"Booking process for breakfast and dinner online was brilliant. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Hotel is spotless and a good night sleep in a very comfortable bed. Food was excellent for dinner and a great breakfast. Perfect throughout on our 1 night visit. Thank you all."

"The hotel was very nice. The staff were wonderful and the breakfasts were very tasty. My only complaint was the bed. It was so lumpy and sunken in the middle that we had to take off the mattress topper off to make it possible to sleep and even then it wasn’t great."

"Comfy big bed and nice big room. Everything you could want for an overnight stay. Staff were super helpful and friendly and I would say the hotel's biggest asset. The furnishings and decor are a bit tired and dated and really could do with upgrading."

"Excellent hotel ! Very convenient if you want a beautiful properly with amazing meals. The chef is special… besides all the other great dishes, Indian food was authentic. Great selection of alcohol .. we enjoyed G&Ts. Very close to Fort Augustus, great for visiting the Great Glen Gin distillery and Loch Ness ! The location of the hotel is stunning"

"Messaging from Hotels.com was inconsistent. In some cases I could not open the message. The 2 step process for getting 2 codes was cumbersome. The hot water was only tepid at best. It was nice to be so close to a cafe both for dinner and breakfast. Parking was fine."
