The highlight of the hike has to be the waterfalls at the end of the box canyon. Rock Stalls Natural Sanctuary is a 70 acre private preserve in the Hocking Hills area that is owned and operated by Camp Akita, but the management of Camp Akita also allows access to the general public. The sanctuary is definitely off the beaten path in the sometimes tourist heavy hocking hills area. It offers a quiet bit of respite with beautiful scenery in a box canyon with a creek and waterfalls.
