From Sudwalde you can make many nice day trips, among others to the Heidepark Soltau (100 km), Serengeti Park Hodenhagen (68 km) or to the Hanseatic city of Bremen (40 km) . After a one and a half hour drive you can reach the North Sea coast (120 km).
