"My husband and I travel often to the area. We booked this for the first time to visit my mom, who is dying of brain cancer. We were contacted on our drive up by the manager who told us the temperatures were going to be freezing Thanksgiving weekend and she informed us that I’m the heater was not sufficient for such weather. I told her our reasons for booking and asked if they could provide a refund, considering their listing does not specify such issues with heating. She told me no. It’s so sad...

"We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful wooded property and nice people. Not quite as private as we expected because fire pits were shared at the lodge, but facility was clean, well kept, with lodge closing at 11:00 so no noise. Fire pits were nice and wood was provided with plenty of seats and picnic tables."

"Owner was great with keeping communication. It was a nice touch that things such as remotes and toilet had some type of seal to show they had been cleaned and sterilized. Full size couch and big smart tv's were a bonus. Internet worked great for us too. "
