"A little disappointed with our stay, the staff were lovely we went to the lakeside grill after booking a table, for a buffet it was expensive and the food was subpar and not as advertised on the video signs. As the weather wasn’t favourable we decided to leave early and didn’t even stay for breakfast. There is a lot of potential for improvement it needs reinvestment and an update it’s in a wonderful place but needs to match that with amenities."
"Truly phenomenal one-night stay in this gorgeous ryokan.
The beautiful and delicious kaiseki meal, comfortable yukata to wear around the property, and the incredible views of the lake and mountains from the room and outdoor onsen made this an unforgettable experience. Mt. Fuji was hidden behind some clouds during my stay, but even still, it was breathtaking beauty. Truly humbling.
